The art of storytelling is as old as time itself for the Yup'ik people who live throughout the Bering Sea.  This form of fan is used by both boys and men of the community to powerfully express emotion while telling a story through dance.  The dance fan you are purchasing is my own unique carved handle style, colored with rare earth pigments I have gathered along the banks of the Yukon River.   Each set is hand made, customized just for you.  When your order is placed, I will personally contact you with a 'Next Steps Guide' to begin your journey!
